Brian graduated from Loras College in 2008 with a degree in accounting and finance. In 2009 he became the chief financial officer at Bruening Rock Products in Decorah, IA. Brian’s passion for small businesses led him to utilize his 16 plus years of CFO experience to create Viking Accountants (now Viking Strategic Partners) in 2022 and become the “CFO on-the-go”. What started off as a few clients quickly grew into a portfolio of small businesses ranging from established businesses needing some help with bookkeeping and reporting, to others looking for help with financials and a trusted partner to help grow their business. He stays active in the community and serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for The Spectrum Network.

Cole graduated from Wartburg College in 2018 with a degree in business administration. After college he moved to Maine and became an account manager for WEX, a payment solutions company. He moved back to Iowa in 2022 and worked as a sales support specialist for Airgas where he focused on the profitability of the business through managing pricing in eastern Iowa. He is the newest member to the team and joined in January of 2025 to assist with growing the business and servicing new customers.
